1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using Cheap AI for Workplace ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including individual users and organizations.

2. Description of Service

Cheap AI for Workplace is a Jira plugin that:

Automatically extracts issue data (summaries, descriptions, comments, metadata) from your Jira instance
Recursively fetches linked issues (epics, dependencies, blockers) through Jira's linking system
Transforms aggregated data into structured AI prompts optimized for language models
Provides one-click copying of generated prompts to your clipboard

🔒 Privacy-First Architecture

Critical: All data processing occurs exclusively within your Jira instance. No issue data is transmitted to external servers operated by Cheap AI for Workplace. Prompt generation happens client-side in your browser and is temporarily held in memory only. We have zero access to your Jira data.

3. Account Registration & Access

Access to the Service is provided through:

Atlassian Marketplace: You must have an active Atlassian account and Jira instance
License Key: A valid license purchased through Atlassian Marketplace is required
Authorization: You must have administrative privileges to install the plugin in your Jira instance

4. License & Usage Rights

Subject to these Terms and your payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

Install and use the Service within your authorized Jira instance(s)
Generate AI prompts from your Jira data for internal business purposes
Copy and use generated prompts with third-party AI tools at your discretion

Restrictions: You may not:

Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the Service
Distribute, sublicense, or resell the Service to third parties
Use the Service for purposes other than those explicitly permitted
Use the Service in violation of Atlassian's Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy

5. Fees & Payment

Access to Cheap AI for Workplace is provided on a subscription basis:

Billing: All fees are processed through Atlassian Marketplace
Currency: USD or local currency as determined by Atlassian
Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled
Price Changes: We may change pricing with 30 days' notice
Refunds: Subject to Atlassian's refund policy (typically 30-day money-back guarantee)

6. Data Handling & Privacy

Your privacy is central to our service design. Our commitment:

Your Responsibilities:

You are responsible for ensuring your use of third-party AI tools complies with their terms and your organization's policies
You must not submit sensitive personal data (health, financial, etc.) through our support forms
You consent to our use of FormSubmit.co for email delivery (see their privacy policy)

7. Support & Service Levels

Support is provided according to our Support Policy and Service Level Agreement:

Support Hours: Monday-Friday, 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM EST
Response Time: Within 7 business days
Channels: Email (contactcheapai@gmail.com) or web form at cheap-ai.net

8. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time:

Feature Changes: We may add, remove, or modify features with 30 days' notice
API Changes: If Atlassian changes Jira APIs, we will attempt to maintain compatibility but cannot guarantee it
Deprecation: We may deprecate older versions with 90 days' notice

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the Service relationship:

By You: Cancel your subscription through Atlassian Marketplace at any time
By Us: We may terminate for violation of these Terms with 30 days' notice
Effect: Upon termination, your license immediately ends and you must uninstall the plugin
No Refund: Termination does not entitle you to refunds except as provided by Atlassian's policy

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
Guarantees that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your requirements
Assurances regarding the accuracy, reliability, or quality of AI-generated prompts
Promises of compatibility with all Jira configurations or third-party plugins

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CHEAP AI FOR WORKPLACE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
Loss of profits, data, business interruption, or goodwill
Costs of procurement of substitute services
Any damages arising from your use of third-party AI tools

Cap: Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cheap AI for Workplace from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

Your violation of these Terms
Your misuse of the Service
Your violation of any third-party rights (including Atlassian's)
Your processing of data in violation of applicable laws

13. Third-Party Services

The Service is designed to work with third-party AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.). You acknowledge that:

These tools have separate terms and privacy policies
We are not responsible for their data handling practices
Your use of these tools is at your own risk

14. Compliance with Atlassian Terms

Your use of the Service must comply with:

Atlassian Customer Agreement or Atlassian Cloud Terms
Atlassian Acceptable Use Policy
Atlassian Marketplace Terms of Use
Atlassian Developer Terms

In case of conflict between these Terms and Atlassian's terms, Atlassian's terms shall prevail.

15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles
Jurisdiction: Any disputes must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware
Arbitration: We may (but are not obligated to) offer binding arbitration for disputes under $10,000

16. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time:

Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last Updated" date
Material changes will be notified via email with 30 days' notice
Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of new Terms
If you disagree with changes, you must stop using the Service

17. General Provisions

Entire Agreement: These Terms, plus the EULA, SLA, Support Policy, and Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement
Severability: If any provision is invalid, remaining provisions remain in effect
Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute waiver
Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent
Force Majeure: We are not liable for failures due to events beyond our control
